Our team manages operations for AMD’s graphics engineering team the Radeon Technology Group. We create products for AMD’s portfolio that enable our customers to build world class laptops, gaming PCs, professional graphics workstations, servers, embedded devices, and much more. We are looking for an operations team member who will act as a data analyst.  THE PERSON: A successful candidate possesses demonstrated ability in data mining & database architecture along with good programming skills and an understanding of Relational Databases Management concepts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Build housings for data and related views using SAP, SQL, Master Data Services, Excel  Perform timely, quarterly ‘PBA’ project-based accounting data collection & analysis  Create executive data extracts for communications across a broad audience  Lead streamlined data reporting & process improvement initiatives to increase automation & enable scenario modeling  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Expert level skills with MDS and Excel including creating macros and interfacing databases  Experience working with large amounts of data, creating pivot tables, and analyzing results and trends using analytic tools  Excellent communication & Microsoft office skills including experience crafting messages in PowerPoint for an executive audience  Passion for attention to detail & organizing information  Experience with project-based accounting and or corporate annual budget planning cycles highly desired  Strong understanding of graphics, SOC, silicon & software development desired  ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Finance, Economics or Statistics #LI-JG2 #LI-Hybrid Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
