AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a Sr. Compliance Specialist, you will make full use of AWS advantages in security and compliance to earn the trust of customers, while helping customers solve overseas compliance issues and accelerate their business development. Build and maintain relationships with customer CISO, DPO, etc., organize CISO Circle events, and earn trust. Familiar with privacy compliance and AI compliance, able to provide customers with best practices and guidance. Help industry customers meet compliance requirements on AWS. Provide guidance to customers based on compliance requirements in different countries and regions.
Key job responsibilities
- Become a reliable security and compliance partner for customers when expand business globally.
- Provide corresponding contents, programs and best practices for four different requirements, establish monthly office hour, and provides guidelines for field team and customers. By size. For large customers, use CISO Circle to strengthen communication on security and compliance. For small and medium customers, jointly work with partners and marketing team to publish a security and compliance white paper for guidance purpose. By Scenario.
- Work closely with the AWS internal team to ensure the accuracy of the interpretation of laws and regulations, and provide Data Privacy Best Practice (GDPR, CCPA, China PIPL), region selector advisory and introduction about GenAI Regulatory in China and EU, guideline on customers’ own regulatory questions, and establish a content library.
