THE ROLE:
The Creative Accounts Team Manager is responsible for leading an integrated team, pushing for insightful briefs to inspire creatives, and developing strong partnerships with stakeholders across all marketing segment teams. This person is responsible for managing the AMD creative development process, annual planning, and execution across copy, campaigns, and co-marketing opportunities. This role involves working closely with the AMD Brand and Creative leadership team, agencies of record and production partners to ensure alignment, consistency, efficient workflows and communications across projects and personnel throughout the campaign development process. Together we will lead and handle brand and product-related creative assignments, and support critical AMD initiatives, focused on top-level corporate and product campaigns.
THE PERSON:
The candidate for this role is ready for a fast-paced environment, comfortable leading multi-stakeholder projects, has strong influencing skills at all levels of the organization, is adaptable, responsible, and highly organized. We are looking for creative problem solving and accountability, and a continuous improvement mentality. He or she will be self-motivated to meet timelines, prepared to jump in and lead, and comfortable managing up with executives. This person will become the subject matter authority for colleagues and partners, bringing value to each workstream and building relationships across the organization to move the business forward. You will run creative development of AMD global creative campaigns from briefing to final asset production making immediate impact working with marketing groups, stakeholders, internal creatives, agency partners and production teams. You will define workflows, plan resources and handle budgets across creative campaigns, all while leading, mentoring, and coaching a high-functioning team.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a Program/Account Manager role with marketing and campaign materials for digital, print and web.
- Experience working at an advertising agency or client side leading a team and working with in-house or hybrid creative teams with a full range of creatives (designers, copywriters, production, video/film).
- In-depth working knowledge of marketing project management workflows
- Tech or related industry and AI understanding a strong plus
- Workflow knowledge of video, multimedia, print and digital production
- Outstanding project timeline development, risk assessment and prioritization skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
