Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. The Role: As the Sr. Manager Project/ Program Mgmt Data Center GPU Business Unit's Product Management Team, you will be instrumental in streamlining operations, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include organizing and tracking meetings, managing documentation, facilitating communication, and supporting hiring processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of driving cross-functional collaboration. The Person: We seek a dynamic individual with a strong background in program management and a proven track record of supporting the delivery of sophisticated software/hardware product requirements. You will drive product management deliverables and schedules aligned with strategic goals, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and be comfortable proactively learning new computer architectures, and solutions for artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing. Experience in hardware/software development or other technology roles, combined with a variety of tech experiences, is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Meeting Management: Maintain a tracker for upcoming meetings, including details such as customer name, date, goal, executive attendees, and presentation deck. Document meeting minutes, learnings, next steps, and track action items. Status Reporting: Prepare bi-weekly status reports on ongoing projects and initiatives. Quarterly Goals Management: Ensure readiness for quarterly goals, conduct monthly reviews, and track team progress. Content Management: Manage and organize content on SharePoint and Confluence sites. Documentation Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating documentation. Product Strategic Discussion Forums: Ensure materials are ready for weekly forums, capture notes, and drive action items. Weekly Staff Meetings: Prepare agendas, document minutes, and follow up on action items. Hiring Support: Track open requisitions, assist in writing job descriptions, and facilitate hiring processes. Product Steering Group and Dashboards: Update monthly dashboards for the AMD Executive Team office. Deliverable Tracking: Monitor team deliverables and coordinate to ensure timely completion. Develop content as necessary. Group Health Management: Oversee team structure and collaboration, monitoring and reporting on overall group health. Key Qualifications: Experience in areas like a Chief of Staff, Project Management, or similar role, preferably within the technology sector. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Confluence, and other collaboration tools. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field. Location: Santa Clara, CA preferred At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
