Key job responsibilities
Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, where you will lead the global GTM plan for the entire High Performance Computing (HPC) and domain specific ML business Worldwide. You are a leader for specialists, architects, partners, and account teams around the world and set direction and standards for how we solve customer problems in your domain. You partner with technical and business teams across AWS and bring the voice of the customer into our product development roadmap. The WW team sees the big picture and sets the plan so the world’s most customer obsessed technical teams can make history.
A day in the life
Lead the worldwide HPC efforts for High Performance Computing (HPC) and Domain Specific ML Framework portfolio while running a global team
Manage a global org (direct and indirect) of GTM team members leading the HPC and Domain specific ML business for AWS.
Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution. Own the Overall HPC and Domain specific Sales number for AWS.
Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc… Serve as an evangelist for HPC, AI/ML Frameworks on AWS, within AWS and externally.
Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
Help architect advanced solutions leveraging AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS SPOT, and Amazon HPC and ML related services, working closely with our customers to deeply understand their business needs and to design technical solutions that take advantage of the AWS Cloud platform.
Evangelize AWS HPC, Autonomous and AI/ML architectures and technologies through forums such as AWS Blogs, white papers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS summit, and user-group events.
Collaborate with AWS field sales, professional services, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and effectively use AWS for HPC and AI/ML applications.
Serve as a key member of the business development and account management teams helping to ensure customer and partner success on the AWS platform.
Gain recognition and credibility as a regular attendee, panelist and keynote speaker for multiple internal and external events.
Identify leads for potential engagement needing pre-sales support.
Collaborate with internal teams to define the product road map, market positioning and developer program initiatives. Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
Lead HPC and Domain Specific ML GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain, thinking through challenges on a 1-3+ year time scale.
