Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a technical leader for our solution architecture team who will be responsible for the technology, strategy, and senior level relationships with strategic and/or fast-growing Independent Software Vendors (ISV). The Partner Solutions Architect will be responsible for creating, and driving, the technical strategy with a group of assigned ISV partners, taking the lead on go-to-market products built-on and/or integrated with AWS. With your partners, you will craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with your team at AWS, you will drive revenue growth through customer adoption of partner solutions on AWS. As a trusted partner advocate, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broaden use of AWS. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS; such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.

Key job responsibilities
Work with partners to deeply understand their business and technical needs that can be addressed with foundation models.
Influence leaders of technology partners through business-level discussions by extracting key technical insights from your own experimentation and communicating these insights at an executive level.
Develop proof-of-concept code that leverages AWS services for generative AI to demonstrate AWS capabilities that technology partners can leverage to improve the capabilities they sell to their customers.
Identify gaps in capabilities and features with AWS GenAI services, and provide short-term and long-term solutions to address those through open source code and/or working with partners.
Draw on deep expertise and experience in your segment to ensure recommendations and technical advice are relevant and incisive.
Empower developer communities on AWS and partners joint value proposition in terms of generative AI through code samples, demos, speaking engagements, meetups etc.
Provide roadmap to internal product management and engineering teams based on customer and partner feedback to help drive the future of AWS services in generative AI.
Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on building generative AI-powered applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
Enable internal and external teams to up-level and build competency in generative AI tools and architectures. Where helpful, develop technical content, such as white papers, workshops, and reference architectures, that can be used by our customers and partners.
Assist solution providers with the definition of strategies that will enable them to present their offering on AWS.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in AI development and deployment, such as GDPR, HIPPA or similar guidelines.
Conduct research and experimentation, while also staying updated with the latest advancements in generative AI to drive innovation and foster credibility.
Participate in industry conferences, workshops and forums to share insights and learn from peers in the AI community.
Scope each partner and customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
Be an advocate of responsible AI, and use your role as a GenAI thought leader to evangelize safeguards for AI while demystifying the behavior of AI systems
A day in the life
- Meeting partner product managers and engineering teams to talk about emerging AI/GenAI market and impactful solutions, whiteboard integration with AWS services to architect solution.
- Building and testing a Proof of Concept (PoC) or create a code sample.
- Writing a blog post or white paper.
- Spending time consuming technical news and learning about the latest happenings in the market and software community.
