Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will work with some of the world’s largest financial services technology companies, the APN and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient joint partner solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a small set of global financial services customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

As a Generative AI Partner Solution Architect, you will use ML and Generative AI tools, such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Code Whisperer and other technologies to design, evangelize, and implement state-of-the-art solutions. You’ll help drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of customers through your passion for educating, training, designing and building cloud hosted Generative AI solutions.

You will design and develop Generative AI industry solutions that involves large-scale data processing and modeling. You will have responsibility to help define requirements, create solution designs, support solutions while deployed and used by our industry customers. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within your partners.

You must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.


Key job responsibilities
You will dive deeply into technical details (e.g. design choices, best practices, use cases) with customer and partner teams, bring deep Financial Services domain knowledge, be able to influence executive-level stakeholders, and be a key contributor to constructive technical solutions discussions. You will help partners identify both the opportunities and risks with their technical decisions. You will take part in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).

This position can be based in anywhere in the United States where we have major Amazon presence including New York, Boston, DC/Arlington, LA, San Francisco, Austin, Irvine, Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, San Diego, Dallas or other locations with a major AWS presence. U.S. Relocation offered from within the United States to office locations only.

Up to 30% travel is required.

A day in the life
Meeting partner product managers and engineering teams to talk about blockers or get feedback about ongoing build activities. Building and testing a Proof of Concept (PoC). Writing a blog post or white paper. Spending time consuming technical news and learning about the latest happenings in the market and software community.
