AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: The successful candidate will set the vision and strategy for what AI applications and frameworks we focus on and optimize for our Instinct GPU customers. She/he understands the workflows that data scientists and ML engineers follow, and the steps and tools used to prepare data, train, fine-tune, and inference LLMs. This person will work closely with our ROCm platform team and the data center infrastructure product management team to build a holistic view of the end-to-end stack, its components and what these components are used for. Additionally, this person will gather customer requirements and triangulate insights into executive presentations to align stakeholder vision. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a view of the ML/AI application stack that is currently used and stay on the bleeding edge of what is coming next in the rapidly changing landscape of ML Ops. Create an actionable pipeline of applications, 3rd party tools and frameworks we need to optimize for to provide the best customer experience and help to optimize their TCO. Identify emerging MLOps solution companies to nurture partnerships with to fill enterprise software gaps on top of AMD hardware advancements. Foster partnerships with key MLOps platform vendors to enhance support for AMD GPU integration, ensuring efficient pipelines for development to production. Track innovations from the industry and across AMD hardware and software teams to ensure that AMD is continually delivering leading-edge workload performance and training and inferencing capabilities that meet and exceed our customer expectations. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in building and deploying, machine learning systems at scale with MLOps methodologies and an understanding for the associated workflows. Must show successful product execution and launch in prior experiences. Working knowledge of data center GPUs and GPU-accelerated applications in AI markets is desired. Exceptional communicator with the ability to make complex concepts simple. You will be presenting marketing content to AMD executive leadership team and AMD’s customers. Background in Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to programmatically manage cluster environments. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to accomplish the goals. Ability to see ahead comprehensively and devise a strong plan of action, and ensure execution happens on time, every time. Ability to get things done and produce conclusive, measurable results within time commitments. Collaborative and strong team player.
