Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to work cross-functionally across Product, Design, Technology, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service, Operations, and Executive teams to create and build support for a shared product vision.
What You’ll Do:
- Set the product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate feature releases and internal/external communications.
- Develop a keen understanding of the product design and development process, identifying areas of improvement and implementing process solutions quickly.
- Utilize data to understand customer behavior/needs as well as business objectives; enable the team to transform that knowledge into product enhancements and new features.
- Write detailed requirements and use cases/user stories and communicate them effectively with business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with UX Design team on primary/customer research, ensuring new features meet customer and business needs.
- Define and monitor CX and operational metrics and manage related inputs to measure success and quantify user experience for veterinarians, pet parents, and pets.
- Communicate product strategy and status to key stakeholders across Chewy.
- 10% domestic travel required.
- Telecommuting permitted.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field, or related field and 7 years of experience.
- Will also accept a Master’s degree and 5 years of experience.
- Experience must include 5 years with:
- Developing short and long-term product strategy, defining detailed product requirements;
- Microsoft Office software In-Demand; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Excel;
- Microsoft OneNote;
- Collaborating with UX Research and CI teams to launch customer interviews and surveys.
- Experience must also include: working in an agile software development environment leveraging Scrum;
- Building and leading cross-functional teams;
- Writing requirements and user stories in tracking software (e.g., JIRA);
- Developing and maintaining a product roadmap and prioritized product backlog on tracking software (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA) ensuring product vision aligns with both customer and business goals;
- Atlassian Confluence In-Demand;
- Atlassian JIRA;
- Managing project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; and
- E-commerce.
- 10% domestic travel required.
