Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Program Manager to engage and collaborate with AMD’s business development team, hardware engineers, software developers and customers. Plan, drive, and report on product development and deployment with AMD customers. Serve as a developer advocate and provide a customer-in view to drive product enhancements, features, and capabilities. Own and drive strategic, customer-facing programs to design, develop, and deploy AMD hardware and software to accelerate HPC and AI workloads with AMD customers, top server OESs, and Mega Centers. Evaluate project work to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, or compatibility in the resolution of complex electronics engineering problems. Direct or coordinate activities concerned with manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, or modification of electronic equipment, products, and/or systems. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: 60 months in job offered or closely related engineering or program management role.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 84 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related engineering or program management role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Must have two (2) years of work experience in the following:
- Leading large scope technical programs with internal or external stakeholders;
- Modern program management processes and issue tracking tools;
- GPU Architecture Simulators, Software and Performance;
- Microprocessor Architecture for AI/HPC;
- GPU performance optimizations for AI/HPC workloads;
- Performance modeling and Analysis;
- Systems Performance for AI/HPC Server Platforms; and
- Programming experience with C, C++, or System Verilog.
