  • Own projects from beginning to end. Be hands-on as a technical leader, from research and iteration to productionization at scale.
  • Lead projects and mentor fellow data scientists as the most senior engineer in the team.
  • Build best practices in terms of machine learning lifecycle , underlying tooling and infrastructure. Foster an environment of technical excellence.
  • Measure impact through attribution, statistics and A/B tests. Build best practices to effectively measure and communicate impacts.
  • Bring feedback and influence the roadmaps of the Data and AI platforms.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of industry experience in a data science role and a Master’s degree or PhD in relevant fields.
  • 4+ years of relevant leadership experience as an engineering manager or technical leader.
  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle, best practices, algorithms and domains and their applications to business (e.g. clustering, forecasting, personalization, recommendation, NLPs and LLMs usage, drift and explainability).
  • You are impact-driven and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You have a strong track record of designing, prototyping, scaling and launching data science products to solve business problems.
  • Strong coding skills in general purpose languages like Scala or Python, and expertise with software engineering principles around testing, code reviews and deployment.
  • Strong data engineering and design skills. Experience with tools like Snowflake, Spark and Airflow. Experience in building reverse ETLs to push back insights to business systems like Salesforce, Marketo or Ads Platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, understand their needs, and simplify complex technical concepts for them to solve their problems.
