Salesforce Inc. seeks Staff Data Scientist in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Apply data science methods to understanding the most important aspects of our AI product, users, and business. Design new datasets and metrics to be added to our data model. Evangelize evidence-based decision making by partnering with key decision makers and driving general accessibility of data and insights. Identify and drive improvements to the execution of the full Research and Analytics teams through standardization of process, authoring new standard methodologies, mentorship and cultivation of new expertise. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign related equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: 4 years experience in each of the following: (1) Experimental Design & Analysis; (2) Machine Learning; (3) Predictive Modeling; (4) Financial Analysis; (5) Data instrumentation & engineering (ETL); (6) SQL; (7) Python (including libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn); (8) Experience with data visualization software such as Mode or Tableau; (9) Jupyter Notebook; (10) GitHub. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 

Salary: $188,885.00 - $276,100.00 per annum.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $188,885 to $276,100.
