About The Role

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and infrastructure. In this role, you will maintain the health of production environments while also driving improvements to the overall reliability and efficiency of those systems. You will also direct and improve production operations and DevOps processes.  

This fully remote role reports to the Director of Strategic Operations and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

 What you will do at Jasper

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software through DevOps and production operations

• Set technical direction for DevOps and production operations, including observability and instrumentation strategies

• Ensure overall reliability and scalability for systems developed, including on-call rotation, to support Enterprise-grade SLAs

• Take initiative, prioritize and manage workloads, and meet project deadlines

• Work directly with customers, while building strong partnerships with product and engineering

What you will bring to Jasper

• 8+ years of full stack development with emphasis on production operations and SRE

• Deep technical expertise in operations across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, etc) 

• Ability to tech lead and manage medium to large-sized business critical projects of 3 - 7 DevOps and production SREs

• Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems with viable solutions

• Ability to influence product and technology without direct authority

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $210,000 - $250,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
