About The Role

Invisible is in a phase of hyper-growth, and the Platform team is at the forefront of increasing the scalability and reliability of all product offerings in the company. As a Staff Technical Program Manager in the Platform group, you will lead complex, cross-technology programs using your experience working with engineering and product management, and leverage your deep technical expertise to lead technical initiatives as the company.

You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through their entire development lifecycle. This will include managing project schedules, and identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You will own communication to other departments and the Executive team at Invisible, and explain technical trade-offs. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you will manage projects of various size and scope, identify future opportunities, improve processes and drive the technical directions of your programs.

What You'll Do

  • Provide software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Analytics, Product Managers and other Platform teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
  • Navigate project teams through ambiguous/changing priorities and objectives while communicating progress, risks, and plans to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Advise the product line for the lifecycle of the product. Ensure operations technical readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle.
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high quality standard, and a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead several technical programs for the Invisible Business, setting priorities with leadership for product and engineering, leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics inform future efforts, and quickly fine tuning the program as needed.

What We Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management.
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience as a developer, or in a different technical IC role
    • People management experience
