If this resonates with you, come and joining our Data Center GPU organization where we are building amazing AI powered products with amazing people.   THE ROLE:  We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Systems Design Engineer to join our growing Datacenter GPU Validation team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s Instinct product, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry leading technologies to market. Our team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.  THE PERSON: The ideal candidate must have a strong interest in working in GPU Hardware and working at datacenter scale. Will be very familiar with Linux programming and driver interfaces. Must be a team player, but also able to work efficiently independently with minimal supervision. Has strong analytical thinking, problem solving, detailed and effective collaboration/communication skills across a wide variety of teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Partner with product architects and domain subject matter experts to drive development of validation tools for internal and external validation teams. Implementing solution strategies on validation tools for current and next generation products. Work with other engineers to implement and develop validation tools solutions. Help debugging issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs. Working with multiple teams and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time. Very familiar with Linux, Linux programming and driver interfaces. Experience with software design/implementation for interfacing with hardware. Extensive experience with Python. Understanding of providing software APIs/interfaces for integration into larger solution stacks. Excellent solution analysis skills. The ability to turn requirement/feature requests into a cohesive software delivery. Have developed GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Familiarity with BMC and/or Redfish. Strong analytical skills for test creation and debug. Effective collaboration and communication skills across a wide variety of teams.   ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science #LI-EV1 #LI-HYBRID At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
