Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager will drive consistency, optimize processes, and create cohesion across the Monks APAC Recruitment team. The Manager will help drive home the vision and Monks mission by creating a transformational work experience with meaningful professional growth and high performance. This individual will work extremely closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Managers to understand and execute plans to make change as well as maintain close partnerships with hiring managers and regional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong capabilities to engage directly with Talent Acquisition leadership on strategy and be able to pivot to granular detail within HR, Legal, Data, Finance and IT
- Communicate programs and see that they are realized, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early, and resolve open issues that prevent progress
- Create a comprehensive project plan, which includes all workstream and functional team tasks to achieve each milestones and manage the day-to-day efforts
- Align team on priorities, disseminate key information, and support department leads
- Achieve higher levels of business impact and improve performance metrics by supporting process improvement initiatives
- Effectively manage a hiring process from start to finish
- Communicate effectively and proactively with cross-functional partners risks and issues, priorities, deliverables, and overall status to management and key executive stakeholders
- Partner with systems and business teams to gather technical and functional requirements with the ability to help others quickly adapt to new tools and processes
- Partner with leadership on defining standard interview processes and strategy and communicate agreed upon protocol to team
- Be able to anticipate hiring manager needs and proactively solve problems
- Act as an engaged teammate to others in talent discovery
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience, preferably both in-house and agency
- Experience sourcing candidates across both local channels (job boards) as well as international platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience using ATS systems, ideally Greenhouse however not required
- Thrive in ambiguity and embrace a challengeA self-starter, highly motivated, and able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
- Detail-oriented and demonstrates an analytical approach to problem-solving, understanding how things affect one another in an overall system
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations
- Care deeply about making strong relationships, especially working with colleagues and mentoring staff
- Experience training Hiring Managers on recruitment best practices
- Proactive mindset. Has demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no direction and make thoughtful decisions
- Great presence and polish in person, comfortable and confident in making decisions, get to the heart of the conversation, concise communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail and deliver high-quality work
