We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our operations to develop, manage, and support our teams responsible for will generating data demonstrations to be used in Supervised Fine Tuning (SFT) of LLMs.
This is a nine month fixed temporary assignment
Key job responsibilities
As a Team Manager you will be responsible for a team of AI Content Writers and a Data Generation Specialists. The candidate will work closely with scientists and teams across the company to review provided guidelines, suggest updates to those guidelines, and engage in ongoing conversations regarding the quality of data. You will also be a part of other initiatives across process improvements, SoP and guidelines formulation, diving deep to provide data insights as and when required.
Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the below:
• Manage job assignment on a day-to-day basis, monitoring performance on job or queue adherence, volume, and quality
• Work on complex processes and support team in providing high quality data to customers
• Operate with autonomy
• Identify issues, proactively reports operational challenges and track progress of escalations
• Contribute to root cause analysis and escalation management
• Liaise with Program Management and other global operations team leads to manage risks & propose mitigation strategies
• Identify process improvement opportunities (enhancements and pain points) at process/ function level using methodologies such as Kaizen, six sigma, or lean
• Demonstrate the ability to handle small to medium scale process improvement projects
• Communicate to cross-company stakeholders on an ongoing basis to review a constantly evolving set of guidelines data and resolves emergent issues with minimal guidance
• Coordinate training and coach team on an ongoing basis to meet work requirements
• Troubleshoot issues related to process and conduct root cause analysis
