The Role
As a Technical Product Manager at Leonardo.Ai, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to scope, experiment, validate, and build groundbreaking design features for our consumers and commercial partners.
You will focus on nurturing the relationship with our engineering teams by translating stakeholder briefs into product requirements, enabling us to deliver our product strategy efficiently across core and enterprise streams.

Requirement Scoping and Translation: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories to comprehensively understand technical constraints and opportunities.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for technical specifications, business rules, and integrations. Maintaining up-to-date documentation is a valuable resource for both product and engineering teams.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and support, to ensure a holistic approach to product development. Engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and incorporate insights into the product roadmap.
Collaboration with the Engineering Team: Acting as a primary point of contact between stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and facilitating effective two-way communication, translating technical jargon for less technical teams and conveying product goals and priorities to the engineering team.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Developing ways of sourcing reliable data, establishing methods of analytics enabling your team to make informed product decisions, and monitoring performance that leads to continuous iterating for improvements.
Contribute towards the product vision: Discover, define and communicate a compelling vision for the platform in collaboration with the Head of Product and CEO/CPO that aligns with Leonardo.Ai's mission to democratise AI creativity for everyone across the globe and cement our long-term commercial success.
Skills we like…
Proven product management experience: Experience contributing towards the full product life-cycle, from launch to ideation, using market trends and customer insights to establish the product vision, value proposition and strategic roadmap, ideally with a SaaS technology brand that serves large consumer and enterprise audiences.
A technical background in software engineering: A firm understanding of software development processes, coding languages and architecture. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services is also beneficial.
An ability to work closely with C-Suite: collaborate with senior executives on technical requirements, presenting roadmaps and highlighting opportunities and trade-offs for the product vision and commercial objectives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and storytelling skills: Proficiency in sharing stories through data, whether it's from market research, competitive analysis or technical limitations, by producing insights to inform strategic recommendations
Experience with varied delivery processes: Using experience and business acumen to proactively build processes and best practices that support our fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
A genuine interest in Generative AI: Familiarity with image generation AI technologies and tools such as Automatic1111, ComfyUI or similar open-source platforms.
