Technical Consultant

Overview

A Technical Consultant will work directly with customers to define and implement advanced ArcGIS enterprise systems through Professional Services engagement activities. A Technical Consultant will work closely with Esri customers, distributors, and partners to establish solutions to make customers successful, broaden the effect of Esri technology to their business and help shape the evolution of Esri products by identifying new implementation patterns. In addition, a Technical Consultant will participate in and serve the Esri community with a diverse scope of platform configurations and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
  • Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers
  • Understand how Esri technology integrates/interfaces with customers` solutions vision
  • Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers
  • Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations
  • Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and on-line)
  • Implement the Utility Network for Utility customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
  • Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with the following: ArcGIS; Python; JavaScript; HTML5; Consulting & Project Management; GIT; and Azure DevOps

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$110,053$134,500 USD
