Technical Director Role:
As a Technical Director, you’ll lead technical approaches and development of scalable platforms, frameworks, and developer tools that power long term projects for amazing global brands. Your expertise will drive high-performance architectures, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation, ensuring seamless execution at scale. Beyond building solutions, you’ll define best practices for the engineering team, improve developer experience, and create tools that empower teams to work more efficiently. Collaborating with producers, creatives, and engineers, you’ll bridge technology and innovation to bring visionary ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering
- Lead the development of scalable platforms, frameworks, and developer tools to enhance productivity and system reliability.
- Define best practices for scalable architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, observability, and automation.
- Optimize infrastructure strategy, balancing Kubernetes and serverless architectures for cost efficiency, security, and high performance.
Technical Leadership
- Develop and execute a long-term platform roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Drive architectural decisions that ensure modularity, scalability, and performance.
- Improve developer experience by streamlining workflows and optimizing multi-region infrastructure for global scalability.
Technical Execution & Projects
- Oversee implementation of large-scale solutions, ensuring high code quality, performance, and security.
- Manage technical project setup, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments to maximize system stability.
- Ensure proactive monitoring and cost-efficient infrastructure decisions.
Mentorship & Team Growth
- Hire, onboard, and mentor engineers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
- Establish knowledge-sharing programs and career development initiatives.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Bridge engineering, creative, and production teams to align technology with business and creative goals.
- Work closely with DevOps to optimize deployment strategies and ensure system reliability.
- Translate complex technical challenges into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, platform development, or infrastructure architecture, focusing on scalability, automation, and developer experience.
- Proven expertise in platform engineering, including building reusable frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and developer productivity solutions.
- Strong leadership experience, including hiring, mentoring, and upskilling developers, fostering technical growth across teams.
- Full-stack proficiency, with hands-on experience in Backend (preferred), Infrastructure, Operations, Frontend, and Mobile development.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one tech stack, with the ability to architect, optimize, and scale complex systems.
- AI/ML and Creative Tech experience is a plus, particularly in AI-driven content generation, automation, and interactive experiences.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional teams, including engineering, creative, production, and business.
- Experience in long-term engineering strategy, including platform roadmaps, cost optimization, and security best practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent hands-on experience is highly valued.
