Perplexity is looking for a technical project manager to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. You will be responsible for creating technical roadmaps, managing design documents and supporting project phases from inception to completion and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for projects
- Ensure design documents are well-scoped and comprehensive
- Oversee project implementation phases with timely and quality delivery
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to align goals
- Assess and communicate the short and long-term trade-offs of technical solutions
- Balance immediate feedback and bug reports against the technical roadmap
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven experience in managing technical projects and teams
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to make informed decisions balancing immediate needs with long-term goals
- Knowledge of ranking systems architecture and mobile development processes
- 3+ years of technical project management experience
- 2+ years of engineering experience
The cash compensation range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity is part of the total compensation package.
