What you'll do...
Understand Business Context: Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues and develop business cases with projected ROI or cost savings. Align solutions with our philosophy of physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
Data science research design: Develop and implement robust research designs, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Conduct observational studies to gather data and generate insights that inform data-driven decision-making.
Data Visualization: Generate appropriate graphical representations of data and model outcomes, working with UX/UI designers as needed to build front-end applications.
Analytical Modeling: Select and develop variables and features for complex problems with large-scale, structured, and unstructured data sets. Conduct exploratory data analysis and interpret data to identify trends.
Model Assessment and Validation: Apply best practice techniques for model testing and tuning to assess accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness for multistage models and model ensembles.
Model Deployment and Scaling: Deploy models to production, continuously log and track model behavior, and identify parameters needing modifications based on the scale of deployment.
Communicate insights: Create audience-tailored content for effective communication of complex analytical insights. Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present findings in a compelling and accessible manner, ensuring that insights are easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you’ll bring…
Experience in health economics (or equivalent organizational/social research areas) methods, cost-effectiveness/ROI analysis, health outcome modeling, resource allocation/optimization/simulation models.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in model fit testing, tuning techniques, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R libraries, GGplot, Matplotlib, Plotly, Tableau, PowerBI).
Statistical and Analytical Skills: Knowledge of advanced statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and optimization techniques (e.g., Linear Programming, Integer Programming, Quadratic Programming).
Coding Proficiency: Experience with coding languages like SQL, Java, C, Python, and testing methods.
Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business practices across multiple domains such as product, finance, marketing, sales, technology, and human resources. Excellent ability to translate business needs into data science problems and solutions.
Explorative Attitude: Strong willingness to explore new methodologies, tools, and technologies for data source exploration and complex feature engineering. Knowledge in best-practice ML operations for proactive and iterative model development.
Communication Skills: Ability to convey clear messages through data representation and customize communication style based on stakeholder guidance.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
