Our growing team plays a major role in architecting and shaping every GPU offered by AMD. As part of the Datacenter GPU/AP Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining mission-critical software systems that support our data center operations. Your expertise will empower users to interact with and manage test infrastructure through web GUIs, dashboards, and other interactive and non-interactive services. This position is essential for ensuring efficient usage and resiliency of our system fleet. THE PERSON: Self-driven, enjoys new challenges and quickly adapts to change in a fast-moving environment Interested in improving processes and solutions by challenging the status quo Excellent communicator and team player KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain software using Python and Angular to facilitate user interaction with our infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance user experience and system functionality. Develop deep understanding of upcoming AMD platforms, IPs, tools, workloads and programming libraries to create relevant and cohesive solutions Ensure applications are performant, reliable, and scalable to meet the demands of our data center operations. Develop and maintain on-premises edge services to ensure optimal performance and availability. Improve scalability, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based services. Write and optimize SQL to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in full stack development with Python and Angular or similar technologies. Experience with SQL and database design. Proven track record in using or managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and/or on-premises edge infrastructure. Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as containerization technologies like Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Linux, including system administration and scripting. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience working in HPC environments. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
