We are seeking a communicative, reliable and insightful teammate, invaluable researcher, problem solver, deck builder, idea generator to internal teams and client partners.

You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You’re familiar with brand, campaign, and social strategies and frameworks, with the ability to take on solo tasks as well as collaborative projects.

You’re a strong writer/communicator, Your communication and collaboration skills are excellen.

Your day-to-day involves collaboration with strategy partners in Research, Social, Data, Connections Planning and more as projects require.

You’re culturally plugged in to shifts and trends. An innate ability to translate and connect your ideas to the context of today’s cultural landscape. Deep understanding of how cultural context relates to the success of a brand’s business and consumer.

You’re an inspired deck builder, who understands how to organize information, both written and visual. You’ll be skilled in helping to determine the key insight or single minded objective that inspires our multidisciplinary creative teams to create impactful work, and collaborate with them throughout creative development to ensure the strategy stays on track.

Organization and time management are crucial. You’ll work on more than one project and client simultaneously, balancing priorities in collaboration with your manager.

Strategy cohorts who rely on you as a source of inspiration to the department. You’re a contributor to our fun, clever, respectful culture, both learning from and educating your strategy peers with no ego.

Responsibilities

  • Own your strategic perspective, bringing your strongest thinking, insight, and communication skills to craft POVs & strategies that are relevant for client’s day-to-day needs, while driving business big-picture in the long term
  • Bring your best strategic self: you’ll be learning and applying frameworks, approaches, historic findings and life experiences to the table, willing to share and adapt with other Monks across a variety of strategic pillars and executions
  • Communication is crucial, the right candidate will be an articulate writer, speaker, presenter
  • Research and collect information using desk research, social listening,
    syndicated and 3P data, on your own and in synchronization with our Research team.
  • Build slides and deck narratives that tell a story, captivate, and use data to back up your points and strategy, using imagery and design for maximum impact in Google Slides.

About You

The essentials:

  • 3 years experience at an agency account planning/ strategy
  • Strong writer and communicator who writes fact-based, exciting, compelling narratives
  • Self starter who’s eager to contribute
  • A passion for culture, and cultural knowledge across multiple categories and audiences
  • Intelligent & perceptive, seeing connections and the big picture where others don’t
  • Persuasive and thoughtful ability to change minds and tell a story
  • Creative mindset that permeates your strategic thinking

As part of your role, you’ll demonstrate expertise in social strategy, including a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, audience engagement tactics, and emerging trends in the social media landscape. You’ll have experience crafting social-first campaigns that align with broader brand and campaign strategies, ensuring cohesive messaging across channels. This includes conducting social listening, leveraging data to uncover actionable insights, and translating these into compelling content strategies that drive engagement and business results. Your ability to develop and execute social strategies will empower you to collaborate closely with creative and community management teams, ensuring that all social efforts are not only culturally relevant but also deliver measurable impact for clients.
