AMD together we advance_ The Role: As a member of Foundry Technology Operations (FTO), PDK (Physical Design Kit) Design Enablement Team, you will help to enable Cadence Design Tools on industry leading technologies. You will work closely with AMD custom design teams, both circuit designers and physical design teams, to develop and maintain a Cadence design environment. The Person: A successful candidate will be able to work with cross functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Development and maintenance of custom layout and schematic capture tools including schematic symbol libraries, layout pcell libraries, layer maps, layout productivity tools and regression flows PDK (Physical design Kit) support including PDK release process Troubleshoot and resolve pcell, schematic netlisting, and layout productivity tool bugs Develop regression flows to maintain high quality design environment Preferred Experience: Experience with Cadence Skill programming language Experience with PERL and/or PYTHON programming language Understand Physical Design and Physical Verification practices Location : Austin, TX Academic Credentials: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering #LI-HYBRID #LI-AP3 At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.
