We’re looking to add an Executive Creative Director to lead our Bangalore business operations.
You are a creative powerhouse and can easily toggle between the big picture and the nitty gritty and back. You thrive on change and challenge, and you have the ability to energize the team around you and inspire them to do their best work. Your role will be to build and lead a strong internal creative team, influence a positive culture and lead the development of a variety of projects simultaneously.

The ECD will hire, mentor and manage integrated teams of art directors, copywriters, UXers, social mavens, content creators and more.
Pivotal to this role is a strong partnership with other discipline leads (account, program management, technology, strategy and data), creating an environment of teamwork and collaboration. Of equal importance is your influencing prowess with clients and partner agencies, while ever humble and adaptable.
- Ultimately accountable for the quality, strategy and integrity of all creative deliverables
- Lead the overall creative vision and development process on a major global account.
- Push the creative envelope, continually raising the bar on the quality of the client’s creative while delivering successful business solutions for our clients.
- Keep the client’s creative “on the map” via awards, events, media, industry buzz, publishing articles, etc.
- Monitor trends in the digital, marketing, design and advertising industries to stay current to position the brands as the leader in their industry.
- Improve accountability across creative teams through management and process improvement.
- Train, manage, mentor and coach a diverse group of creative professionals with varying skill levels
- Organize creative team with appropriate structures, teams, experience levels, diversity of skills, etc. Plan, assign, schedule and direct work.
- Help build morale and create a positive work environmentPartner with account and project management leaders to identify creative objectives and strategies; provide input into creative briefs
- Expertise in the Agency environment
- In-Depth knowledge of campaign storytelling, taking an interest in the best work and the newest platforms and technologies
- Creativity, latitude, flexibility, and tenacity.
- Ability to lead and critique creative in both copy and design disciplines
- Ability to inspire and motivate teams to reach creative excellence and performance goals

What You’ve Accomplished
- You have 15+ years experience working for a wide range of clients and brands, ideally agency as well as client-side
- 12+ yrs of professional experience, including a minimum of six years as a senior level professional in at least two of the following areas: integrated campaigns, advertising, interactive advertising, website development, multimedia, promotions, mobile or social marketing.
- You inherently understand digital and think way beyond traditional ad formats and budgets
- You are not afraid of leveraging data and research to help identify unique opportunities for the brand
- You have extensive experience building, managing and coaching teams to help them create their best work
- You jump in as needed, rolling up your sleeves, getting into the work and concepting, at the same time as guiding your teams to accomplish their best work
- You have a proven ability to collaborate across disciplines such as Marketing, Creative, Product and Management
- You are an excellent communicator, and you’re able to present concepts and deliver constructive feedback to all members of the team
- You are self-motivated, hard working, and work well in a fast-paced environment. You believe that the best ideas don’t rely on million-dollar production budgets and a 50-person team
- You have personal work in your portfolio, because if you’re passionate enough to do interesting things in your own time
