The Role
In this individual contributor role, the Partner Marketing Manager will be focused on supporting and leading our partners to ensure they have what is needed to effectively sell and promote Cohere’s enterprise AI solutions.
This role will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies and initiatives designed to drive awareness, interest, and sales through our partner channels, with a focus on our AI technologies.
The Partner Marketing Manager will work closely with our revenue and product teams to understand the needs of our partners and develop marketing strategies to support those needs, as well as our overall business objectives, with a focus on delivering outstanding AI technology worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Marketing Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders and develop activations, programs and thought leadership opportunities that engage Partners.
Campaign & Program Development & Execution: Collaborate with product teams to create tentpole moments. Plan and execute marketing campaigns targeted at Partners, including product launches, hackathons, and technical conferences.
Operations: Lead in creating an efficient partner marketing program to ensure we are optimizing a lean team and scaling efforts across our partners.
Partner Enablement: Build and nurture relationships with Partners at partner organizations and enterprises, both online and offline, to deliver content and experiences that educate, incite and empower sellers and their customers to use Cohere
Content Creation: Develop compelling and relevant content, including case studies, blog posts, technical articles, tutorials, videos, podcasts and webinars, to educate and inspire Partners. Create marketing campaigns that extend the reach of LLMU to enterprise Partners.
Advocacy Programs: Develop and manage Partner advocacy programs to build a strong network of Partner advocates and evangelists.
Metrics and Analysis: Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Partner marketing efforts, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
The Partner Marketing Manager will support programs such as: Messaging, Asset development, Campaigns, Partner Education & Training, Co-hosted events, Roadshows, Partner use of LLM-U, Hackathons, Partner Technical Webinars & Strategic oversight into partner conferences
This role may be a good fit if you have:
- 5+years of experience in a marketing role for a B2B/enterprise company
- Proven experience developing successful marketing plans for B2B Tech or Saas alongside a partner.
- A track-record having led successful data-driven multifaceted campaigns, from ideation to content creation to promotion.
- Adept at building and maintaining lasting relationships, both internally with stakeholders in all departments and with external partners
- An owner’s mindset; with high personal accountability and a resourceful attitude, able to work independently to drive partnerships forward, you understand and anticipate the needs of partners and the company.
- Customer-obsessed – holding the customer experience at a high bar and representing their voice.
- Ability to translate complex technology concepts into compelling value-driven customer narratives and experience reviewing and editing creative.
- Demonstrated curiosity in the AI space, with experience leveraging the tools for your own processes and creative development.
