We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations/HR Generalist with a background in HR practices to join our expanding people team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role encompasses a broad range of HR responsibilities, including employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, policy management, and immigration support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Conduct orientation sessions and provide new employees with necessary information and resources.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Provide guidance to employees on benefits options and enrollment processes.
- Ensure compliance with benefits-related laws and regulations.
- Develop, update, and enforce company policies related to HR, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the immigration process, including visa applications, renewals, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of various HR metrics and activities.
- Ensure new hires are invited to and set up on all necessary platforms (e.g., Linear, Notion, Google, 1Password, Slack).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience handling immigration related matters.

The cash compensation for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
