JOB DETAILS:

  • Location: Penang, Malaysia
  • Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in an onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
  • Duration: 3 to 6 months commitment

 

THE ROLE: 

 

Program Manager (PM) interns is responsible for assisting the PM in the completion of complex NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, HW, SW, & FW) and partner technologies (Fabric, Storage, Accelerators) to deliver datacenter system solutions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Drive engineering program plans from based on PM and engineering technical guidance
  • Manage program deliverables and receivables with teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
  • Coordinate team communications and reviews within the program team
  • Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
  • High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with datacenter, server or PC system design, software development, and validation
  • Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
  • Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or related fields.
