We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Robotics Fleet and Operations Manager to lead the deployment, maintenance, and operations of our robotic systems across retail environments in Europe. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical, project management, and customer relationship skills to ensure the success of our robotics solutions and client satisfaction.
Ideal location is Germany, but it could be another city outside Germany nearby large airport.
Responsibilities
Robot Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy robots in retail stores, ensuring they are fully operational and integrated with client systems. Perform periodic maintenance on robots as needed.Project Management: Own the end-to-end process of deployment and expansion projects with retail clients, taking full responsibility for planning, execution, and successful delivery of results. Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.Operations & Customer Experience: Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. Assist in managing day-to-day operations and customer experience activities.Fleet Health Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of the robot fleet, ensuring all systems operate optimally. Identify and address potential issues proactively to minimize downtime.Data Analytics & Utilization:Analyze data to identify actionable insights and improvements for store operations. Collaborate with store managers and staff to operationalize data insights, implementing solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.Travel: This role requires approximately 30% - 50% travel within Europe to support client sites and deployments.,
Qualifications
Mechanical or technical repair skills.Fluency in English and German is mandatory; proficiency in French and Spanish is preferred.Proven experience in project management, preferably in the retail or technology sectors.Familiarity with retail operations and processes is essential.Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and work with robotic systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.Proactive problem-solver with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to travel and flexibility to adapt to dynamic schedules.This is a remote job preferably located in a major airline hub city,
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with deploying or managing robotic or automated systems.Technical account management experience.
