As a Senior Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of implementation projects, from initial scoping to go-live. This includes proactive risk management, technical implementation oversight, and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects by driving projects from initial scoping to successful go-live, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery.
- Proactively manage and mitigate risks by identifying, assessing, and developing mitigation strategies for potential risks.
- Oversee technical tasks and communication with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective system implementations.
- Lead change management initiatives at provider/partner organizations to facilitate successful adoption of Paradigm's platform, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training.
- Collaborate closely with provider IT and project management teams to guarantee smooth deployments.
- Lead cross-functional communication and collaboration by facilitating productive meetings with provider/partner teams and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate review and validation of data sources and extracts from providers.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to less experienced team members, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Establish and maintain project clarity through meticulous documentation by creating and managing internal issue logs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of action items.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion by handling sensitive information with tact, judgment, and the utmost discretion.
Who you are:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related area is preferred, though relevant experience will also be strongly considered.
- 5+ years of experience in implementation/project management, preferably in healthcare or enterprise software.
- Proven ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, define project scope, allocate resources, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Expertise in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage expectations, communicate project status, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Ability to lead cross-functional efforts between customer and internal product/engineering/business teams.
- Experience in managing project changes, including scope adjustments, timeline revisions, and resource reallocation, while maintaining project goals.
- Experience using project management and product development tools (e.g., Monday.com/Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence).
- High degree of responsiveness, reliability, and integrity.
- Adaptability and a growth mindset: The AI field is rapidly evolving, so a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Nice to Have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of interoperability between health system EHRs and 3rd party applications, including but not limited to: HL7, FHIR APIs, and electronic data warehouse extracts
- Familiarity with SQL for running existing queries and making minor modifications.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and applications in healthcare.
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and GCP/ICH guidelines for clinical trial management.
- Experience working with eSource or EDC systems
- Understanding of data aggregation or data analysis
