THE ROLE: 

The Circuit Technologies group within Central Engineering is looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage Power Solutions IP portfolio.  This individual will be responsible for working closely with IP leads and functional domain owners (RTL, physical design, verification, etc.) in co-managing IP delivery to our SoC customers.  It will be a cross-functional role working within Circuit Technologies as well as organizations outside of Central Engineering including SoC design teams, business units, validation teams, and other various partners throughout execution.

 

This individual will also be responsible for executive level reviews on overall IP status.  They should be comfortable in presenting to executive leadership as well as working closely with our engineering teams.

 

THE PERSON: 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for solving tough, sometimes ambiguous problems and thrives in a challenging environment.  As an experienced engineer, they should be able to drive solutions to issues with support and guidance of management and peers.  They should be a strong communicator and one that is able to collaborate across various disciplines to share, drive, and implement what is needed for the organization.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assisting IP leads in managing IP execution through tracking and reporting
  • Managing stakeholders both within and outside of the organization 
  • Removing roadblocks for execution teams

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Good understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect management 
  • Demonstrated project and program management leadership success
  • Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented and results-oriented 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with multiple people and teams, ability to communicate progress to team members on a regular basis 
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and competing priorities and tight turnaround times  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
