The Role:

We're seeking a Staff Data Analyst to join our supply chain management technology team. This role is perfect for a passionate data analytics professional eager to collaborate across departments and tackle complex supply chain challenges. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our vision for automated, data-driven supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing operations and business solutions.

  • Tackle complex data analysis problems, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

  • Provide analysis for launched solutions to quantify outcomes.

  • Formulate business concerns as technical problems solvable using data and math/stat methods.

  • Co-build data analytics culture within the supply chain automation team.

  • Develop analytics, success metrics, dashboards, and simulations for products, business, and operations

  • Define KPIs and identify improvement opportunities in supply chain analytics.

  • Conduct experimentation, A/B tests, and product analytics.

  • Build reporting dashboards in tableau / Power BI. Insights / analytics in Jupyter notebook.

Basic Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Machine Learning, with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights and solutions that drive business decisions

  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills to drive data-driven decision-making, including proficiency in statistical modeling, data visualization, and predictive analytics

  • Hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and basic visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on extracting insights from large datasets

  • Strong critical thinking skills to solve ambiguous problems supported by solid knowledge of data science and machine learning fundamentals, with the ability to formulate business problems into data science solutions

  • Ability to conduct analysis independently for a business problem through data manipulation, hypothesis formulation, experiment design, and statistical analysis, with experience working with complex datasets and models

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Big Data ecosystem (Spark, Hive, HBase) and SQL/NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB) for handling complex data transformations and analysis

  • Experience in statistics/ML fundamentals, including regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction techniques, as well as experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning models

  • Experience in AI/ML-driven demand forecasting, with the ability to collaborate with ML Engineer and Data Analysis resources to optimize model development and deployment

  • Understanding of the e-commerce business domain and the ability to apply cutting-edge models into production environments, driving measurable results
