About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SVP, New Business - Media, to lead our Pitch Media Practice within the agency. In this executive role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing the end-to-end pitch process, and ensuring the alignment of our media strategies with client objectives. Your leadership will be vital in fostering collaboration among teams, enhancing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to elevate our market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy Development: Lead the formulation and execution of revenue growth strategies that align with the agency's overall goals, focusing on expanding our media practice and maximizing profitability.
- End-to-End Pitch Management: Oversee the entire pitch process from initial concept to final presentation, ensuring all components are aligned and delivered on time to meet client expectations.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategists, creatives, and account managers, to develop compelling pitch materials that resonate with clients.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client communications related to pitches, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and a strong understanding of client needs.
- Narrative Development: Write and refine pitch narratives that effectively communicate the agency's value proposition and align with client objectives.
- Best Practices Adherence: Ensure that all aspects of the pitch process adhere to industry best practices, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Prospective Client Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with prospective clients to gather insights and tailor pitches that address their specific needs.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze pitch outcomes and revenue performance, identifying successes and areas for improvement to inform future strategies.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the media practice.
About You
The essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a media agency, marketing, or related field, with a proven track record in revenue leadership.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize information and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and persuasive presentations.
- Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving revenue growth and innovation.
