THE ROLE:

We're seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in x86 architecture, Linux internals, confidential computing, and orchestration frameworks. Strong leadership skills, along with experience in cross-functional collaboration and partner engineering, are a must. In this role, you'll shape strategies for software optimization, drive partner and customer engagements, and work closely with product and silicon development teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Container Orchestration and Confidential Computing Solutions Development Manager is responsible for;

  • Leading and managing the software development team to ensure successful project delivery and upstream contribution.
  • Collaborating with other teams and organizations to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives, including compliance with open-source licensing and community guidelines.
  • Building and leading a team of software developers focused on contributing to established open-source projects or developing new open-source projects.
  • Managing the team's contribution to multiple open-source projects, including ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key contributors and maintainers of open source projects to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Reporting project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

 

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep understanding of containers and container orchestration including Kubernetes, Docker, Kata Containers, KubeVirt, OpenShift.
  • Understanding of confidential computing and zero-trust architectures
  • Understanding of x86 architecture 
  • Experience running, analyzing, and tuning of system performance benchmarks
  • Experience in managing development projects and coordinating collaborative open-source development 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related equivalent
