Social Media Strategist
Monks is looking for a dynamic individual who understands that social and brand strategy must align to get results. The Social Media Strategist plays a pivotal role in implementing and executing the brand's creative strategy across various digital touchpoints. They are responsible for recommending and leveraging the most effective channels and technologies to achieve brand objectives and resonate with the target audience. This role involves translating creative concepts into compelling content across different platforms, ensuring the brand's message stands out and aligns with a cohesive Social Point of View.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Craft and implement social strategies aligned with the creative direction, selecting key messages, and constructing campaign mechanics for optimal brand visibility and impact.
- Campaign Oversight: Define, track, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at each stage of campaigns to ensure strategic objectives are met and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Team Support: Provide support to Content and Community Management teams, ensuring their efforts align with strategic objectives.
- Analytical Insights: Analyze and interpret data obtained from various analytical and monitoring tools to optimize social media accounts continuously.
- Collaborative Work: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data, Brand Strategy, Paid Media, Creative, and Operations to execute comprehensive strategies and achieve collective goals.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Miró, Slido, Jira.
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in managing social media strategies and campaigns.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving trends and technologies in the social media landscape.
Background & Skills
- Background in Marketing, Communications or related fields.
- 3 years of proven experience in social media strategy or a related role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement and meet business objectives.
- Certifications or training in relevant social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
The Social Media Strategist will be instrumental in ensuring the brand's presence is impactful, consistent, and aligned with strategic goals across all social media platforms, fostering engagement and growth in the digital space.
