This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
- Compensation Programming: Develop the compensation calendar and internal compensation practices.
- Global Support: Ensure our compensation philosophy is applied across all geographies we operate within.
- Compensation & Equity Reviews: Own and run these programs. Create tools and resources to help managers make informed compensation decisions.
- Communication: Create all compensation communication, including training and total compensation statements.
- Analytics & Benchmarking: Analyze compensation data, including salary surveys and market trends, to recommend adjustments that align with company needs and industry standards.
- Internal Governance: Establish and maintain processes for compensation decisions, including promotion guidelines, market adjustments, and new hire compensation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a similar HR role, with a strong understanding of compensation structures, data analysis, and market trends globally
- Experience with compensation benchmarking, job evaluations, and salary surveys
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with expert proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Familiarity with compensation tools and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of compensation laws and regulations
- Ability to communicate complex compensation data clearly and effectively to executives and employees alike.
- A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to accuracy and transparency
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
