The Media.Monks VP Group Account Director maintains agency relationships in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is a role for a strategic and growth-minded professional with the industry know-how and rapport to simply get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Own the client relationship including management of fiscal health
- Understand business challenges and be able to articulate strategies to address those needs
- Ensure a collaborative approach internally and across agency partners to ensure happy and productive working relationships, collaborating with agency partners to find efficient solutions
- Build and sustain relationships with senior clients, becoming their trusted marketing partner
- Stays informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic recommendations and maintain a competitive edge
- Will be accountable for leading all high-level projects and initiatives, with full ownership of their successful execution
- Contribute to project-level work with a client-centric focus, shaping the approach and presentation based on the client's business and brand strategy
- Identify new opportunities within current client relationships, chart the path to forge new relationships and design strategies for expansion across our portfolio of services
- Manage, train and mentor a team of directors responsible for individual pieces of business
The essentials:
- 12+ years of increasing levels of responsibility in marketing leadership positions at agencies and/or client organizations
- Leadership skills that mean others want to work with and for you
- Deep understanding of marketing principles and programs with an emphasis on digital marketing across strategy, content creation and media
- Proven track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar global accounts
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills that ensure our message is always clear and compelling to our client partners
- Demonstrate a comfort level with data, media and analytics, social media strategy and management
- Multi-channel digital-first client campaign experience, automotive experience preferred
- Passion to stay on the pulse of culture and ability to provide a strategic POV
- Experience with and comfortable working within project management tools (WorkFront, JIRA, Monday.com, Asana, etc.)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
