Stability AI is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and creative individual to join our Marketing & Communications team as Creative Director.
We are transforming professional visual media creation led by a renowned leadership team with a proven track record of transforming creative industries including Sean Parker as Executive Chairman, Prem Akkaraju as CEO, and James Cameron as Board Member. This is a unique opportunity for a professional creative to help shape the future of their craft.
In this role, you will translate business and marketing objectives into a clear, creative strategy to define how we show up visually in the market and how that translates across different channels, audiences, and executions.
You will be a maker and manager, who can both concept and execute best-in-class creative, as well as manage other creatives and processes. You will work with a team of marketers and cross-functional stakeholders on various creative executions across product launches, marketing campaigns, social content, industry events, and with strategic partners. This will require establishing a consistent visual identity, brand guidelines, and identifying creative ways for us to stand out in the market and show up in expected ways.
This role will require communicating visually to a multiple audiences, including professional creators, developers, startups, researchers, and enterprise businesses. This is a fully remote role based in the United States.
To succeed in this role, you must possess an insatiable curiosity about generative AI and have already integrated AI-first tools into your creative workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Define the creative strategy for corporate brand and go-to-market campaigns across all channels and brand touch points.
- Hire, lead, manage and mentor a small but mighty team of creatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure creative strategies are aligned, implemented and executed successfully.
- Utilize proprietary AI tools to enhance and accelerate executions.
- Implement best practices in the creative process that instills a culture of efficiency, attention to detail, collaboration and a focus on measurable results.
- Review, vet, and approve all creative deliverables to ensure the highest quality standards are met and delivered on time.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and the competitive landscape to continually evolve and pressure test the positioning of our products.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Creative Director, Design Lead, or related experience in marketing or advertising fields.
- People leadership experience.
- Experience leading the creative strategy, development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience making data driven decisions.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, a roll up your sleeves attitude, and are motivated by problem solving.
- Proficient in generative AI creative tools. Expert level is a strong plus.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Compelling work examples that demonstrate strategy and execution.
- Be able to maintain high quality amidst fast turnaround times while navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
